Welcome to The Yellow Art Book. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using this website, accessing our resources and purchasing or subscribing to our services.
By accessing or using The Yellow Art Book website, purchasing a membership, downloading a resource, or registering for a course or workshop, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or purchase our services.
1. About The Yellow Art Book
The Yellow Art Book is an independent visual arts education platform providing educational resources, curriculum materials, professional learning, courses, workshops and related content for teachers, schools, artists and other members of the visual arts education community.
The Yellow Art Book may provide both free and paid content.
2. Using This Website
You are welcome to browse and use The Yellow Art Book website for lawful educational and personal purposes.
You agree not to:

- attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas or accounts;

You may access and use resources for your own personal, professional or educational purposes where the relevant resource permits this.

- redistribute resources to people who do not have the relevant membership or licence;

- use our materials to create a competing commercial resource or service.
Teachers may use appropriate resources in their own classrooms and with their students, subject to the conditions of the relevant resource or membership.
4. Free Resources
Some resources on The Yellow Art Book are available free of charge.
Free access does not transfer ownership or copyright of those materials to the user.
Unless otherwise stated, free resources may be used for personal and non-commercial educational purposes.
If you wish to reproduce, publish, adapt or commercially use a free resource beyond normal classroom use, please contact us for permission.
5. Memberships & Subscriptions
The Yellow Art Book may offer paid membership or subscription options providing access to additional educational resources and professional learning materials.
The features included in each annual membership are described on the relevant membership page at the time of purchase.
A membership provides a licence to access the relevant content for the subscription period. It does not transfer ownership of the content to the subscriber.
Individual memberships
Individual memberships are intended for use by the person who purchased the membership.
Membership login details must not be shared with other individuals unless the relevant membership specifically permits shared access.
School or institutional memberships
Where a school or institution purchases a membership, access is limited to the users covered by the relevant subscription.
The terms of access, number of users and permitted use will be determined by the membership purchased.
Unauthorised sharing of membership access may result in suspension or termination of the membership.
6. Digital Downloads & Resources
Where resources are provided as digital downloads, the purchaser receives a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the resource for the purposes described at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, downloaded resources may not be:
- resold;
- uploaded to public websites or file-sharing platforms;
- distributed commercially;
- given to people outside the permitted educational context; or
- repackaged or reproduced as a competing product.
Purchasing a digital resource does not transfer copyright ownership to the purchaser.
7. Courses, Workshops & Professional Learning
The Yellow Art Book may offer online or in-person courses, workshops, professional learning sessions and other educational events.
Details of each course or workshop, including dates, duration, fees and what is included, will be provided at the time of booking.
Where a course or workshop is cancelled by The Yellow Art Book, participants will be offered the applicable refund, transfer or alternative arrangement described for that event.
Where a participant cancels, any refund will be subject to the cancellation terms stated at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course content, tutors, dates or delivery arrangements where necessary.
8. Payments, Renewals & Refunds
Prices are displayed on the relevant product, membership or registration page.
Unless otherwise stated, payment must be made in full before access to a paid product or service is provided.
For subscriptions, the renewal arrangements will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.
Refund and cancellation terms may vary depending on the product or service purchased. The applicable terms will be provided at the point of purchase.
Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
9. Educational Content & Disclaimer
The Yellow Art Book provides educational ideas, resources and professional perspectives based on experience in visual arts education.
Our resources are intended to support teachers and educators but should be adapted to suit the age, context, curriculum and needs of individual students.
The Yellow Art Book does not guarantee that a particular resource, lesson, unit or teaching approach will produce a particular educational outcome.
Where curriculum frameworks, examination specifications or other external programmes are referenced, users should check the relevant official documentation for the most current requirements.
10. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on the website is accurate and useful.
